HIGH TEMPERATURE COVER MIXES & PATCHES

Refractory mortars produced by Westmoreland Advanced Materials, Inc. are available only in dry formulations and are typically supplied in bags but can also be supplied in plastic pails ready to mix with water. These are premium products based on the latest surfactant and bonding matrix technology.

These products are designed to be cover and patching mixes used to repair cracks and other small areas of damage. They can be mixed with various amounts of water to result in a mix with various viscosities thus these materials can be applied by painting or spraying or they can be applied with a trowel similar to dry wall spackling. These are also available in a Patch Mix which is the same material but with a coarser aggregate to reduce drying shrinkage for larger patch jobs.
